Pediatric

Our Pediatric Therapists can help your child reach their developmental milestones by increasing their balance, coordination and strength through play.

Children, ages infant through adolescence, may benefit from pediatric therapy if they were premature, have a genetic disorder, orthopedic abnormalities or developmental delays.

Physical Therapy:

• Decreased coordination, balance and/or strength
• Decreased mobility/range of motion
• Postural abnormalities (head tilting, flat head, scoliosis)
• Gait abnormalities - toe walking/in-toeing
• Orthopedic abnormalities
• Pre/Post surgery
• Congenital Muscular Torticollis (CMT)
• Delayed gross motor skills (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, stairs, jumping)

Occupational Therapy:

• Difficulty with dressing, grooming, and/or hygiene
• Developmental coordination disorder
• Delayed development of upper body functional skills/fine motor skills
• Visual motor dysfunction
• Difficulty paying attention and following verbal directions
• Executive functioning difficulties
• Oral motor dysfunction
• Sensory processing dysfunction including feeding
• Decreased self regulation/ transitional skills
